On May 26, 2021, the Institute of Russian, Eastern European and Central Asian Studies (IREECAS) at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) in Beijing, in partnership with the Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok, held an international scientific conference on cooperation between Russia and China in the field of security and economy in North-East Asia.

On May 26, 2021, the Institute of Russian, Eastern European and Central Asian Studies (IREECAS) at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) in Beijing, in partnership with the Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok, held an international scientific conference on cooperation between Russia and China in the field of security and economy in North-East Asia.

The event was attended by over one hundred and twenty international experts representing leading think tanks and research universities in Russia and China. Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General; Sergey Luzyanin, Head of Department at Higher School of Economics, RIAC Member; as well as Vladimir Petrovsky and Alexander Lomanov, RIAC Experts; spoke at the event.
