UN Reports on the humanitarian situation in Yemen (the latest of which WFP report and the report of the Panel of Experts on Yemen) clearly mentioned and condemned the violation committed by Houthi Militia; including obstructing humanitarian access, manipulating lists of beneficiaries, looting of aid, and harassing and threatening international humanitarian staff. Amid all of these violations, UN officials continue to send vague messages to address Houtis' violations. The Ministry is surprised by such policy of the UN and warns that such unclear language further emboldens the Houthi Militia. It is time for the international community and the UN to expose the violations by militia, and pinpoint the party that employs relief to finance the war machine against Yemeni people and stands behind the Humanitarian catastrophe in Yemen.
The Ministry warns that Stockholm Agreement is in danger of collapse, and the self-restraint so far maintained by the Yemeni Government will not last endlessly, as the Houthi Militia continues to send reinforcements and buildups in the city of Hodeidah, violate the cease-fire, commit daily violations and attacks against some sites of the National Army, and detain innocent civilians. The inaction of the international community and the United Nations in the implementation of the Stockholm Agreement and their soft approach towards the Houthi Militia, have encouraged them to maintain their violations and undermine the Stockholm Agreement. This is a dangerous approach that harms the reputation and role of the UN in Yemen and detonates the whole situation in the future.

The Yemeni Government has reiterated its commitment towards peace and the full implementation of the Stockholm Agreement. However, no achievement has been made so far, though it is more the six months already elapsed since the Stockholm Agreement took place, due to the defiance of the Houthi Militia. This is sufficient proof for the international community to realize that Houthi Militia does not believe in peace nor in dialogue. Hence, it is time for the UN and the International Community to stand to their responsibilities towards the Yemeni people and to name the obstructing party.
We join the participants of this Meeting in emphasizing the importance to face hybrid threats.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Yemen condemns with the strongest terms the recent mortar shelling of Red Sea Mills by Houthi Militia, which started a fire at the Mills, damaging tons of wheat that are direly needed to relieve the humanitarian misery of Yemeni People. Here we express our thanks to all countries provided humanitarian assistance, particularly K.S.A. and also UAE. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs warns that the Houthis' continuation to evade the implementation of the Stockholm Agreement, their refusal to open the safe corridors for humanitarian aid, their shelling on the Red Sea Mills, and the refusal to permit the passage of the relief convoy, which was worked on for a whole week by the redeployment coordination committee headed by General Patrick Cammaert, should not be overlooked by the international community and the Security Council. Meanwhile, the Ministry draws the attention to the fact that the Yemeni Government under the instruction of the President of the Republic of Yemen — Abdrabo Mansur Hadi to the field team has repeatedly agreed to open the way to the Mills, and confirmed that the road is free of mines or any external impediments.
