On April 10, 2021, the conference "Social Development in the Middle East and North Africa at the Present Stage" was held at MGIMO University.
The event was organized by the MGIMO Middle East Club. The purpose of the conference was to identify the main social problems of the Arab countries and the specifics of state policy in this area. The conference was devoted to the issues of education, state policy in the field of social development and social protection, health care, and food security challenges. The conference also focused on human rights and gender equality in the Middle East, migration and demographic processes in the region.
