The speakers of the meeting were: Andrey Kortunov, Director General at the RIAC; Riad Haddad, Ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic to Russia; Vasily Kuznetsov, Head of the Center for Arab and Islamic Studies of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the RAS, RIAC Member; Nikolay Promyslov, Vice-Rector for Science and Additional Education of the GAUGN; Evgenia Kuznetsova, Deputy Dean of Faculty of Oriental Studies of GAUGN. The meeting was also attended by Kirill Semenov, independent analyst, and Ivan Bocharov, RIAC Program Assistant. The participants noted the relevance and uniqueness of the publication of the book on the subject of modern economic legislation in the Arab countries. The experts said that the publication of such book is of great importance for the development of Russian-Syrian and Russian-Arab economic relations.
