second working day of The 2nd Round of International Conference “Strategic
Visions of India-Russia Relations in a Changing World Order” organized by
Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) and Indian Council of World
Affairs (ICWA).
On November 15, 2018, New Delhi was hosting the second working day of The 2nd Round of International Conference “Strategic Visions of India-Russia Relations in a Changing World Order” organized by Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) and Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA). The sessions focused on the following topics «New Technologies and Their Impact on India-Russia Future Cooperation» and «Priority Areas of India-Russia Future Bilateral Cooperation».
The speakers and moderators included: Ivan Timofeev, Director of Programs, RIAC; Group Captain (Retd). Ajay Lele, Senior Fellow, IDSA; Alexey Kupriyanov, Research Fellow, Primakov Institute of World Economy and International Relations of RAS; Vasily Kashin, Leading Research Fellow, Institute of Far Eastern Studies of RAS; Nakul Saxena Director, Public Policy, iSPIRT Foundation; Nandan Unnikrishnan, Vice President, ORF; Athar Zafar, Research Fellow, ICWA; Hari Sankar Vasudevan, University of Calcutta; and Ksenia Kuzmina, Program Coordinator, RIAC.
During the final section, Russian and Indian experts held a brainstorm session on the most perspective areas of cooperation between Russia and India.
Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, and Amb. T.C.A Raghavan, ICWA Director General, made closing remarks. The parties confirmed their intention to continue the closest cooperation between think tanks for the development and enhancement of relations between Russia and India.
