On February 18–28, 2019, Indian think tank "India Foundation" together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India held a scholarship program "Kautilya Fellows Program" (KFP).
In 2019, KFP was organized as a 10-day seminar on domestic and foreign policy of India, which addresses the issues of strategic partnership between Delhi and key players in the international arena, peculiarities in the structure of Indian state institutions and their role in shaping the political life of the country. The seminar also covered the issues of economic and social development.
The event was attended by 75 delegates from 32 states, among them - researchers, public and state leaders, scientists, diplomats. State officials from India, national leaders, experienced diplomats, prominent scholars, and ambassadors from several countries (Japan, Bangladesh, Vietnam) made speeches at the seminar sessions. Meetings were held with Venkaiah Naidu, Vice-President of India, and Sushma Swaraj, Minister of External Affairs of India.
