On November 25–December 4, 2020, the Sixth International Conference on Security and Development Issues in Mediterranean Region (MED2020) is being held online. The conference has been held since 2015 by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the Italian Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI) and has already become one of the most significant and representative public-political and expert international forums. MED2020 gathered heads of state, ministers of foreign affairs of the countries of the region, and heads of international organizations, about a thousand diplomats, businessmen, public figures, and experts representing more than eighty national and international analytical centers.
