The discussion addressed the following issues: further institutional development of NATO and the EU, the consequences of the economic disengagement of the European Union and Russia, the significance of Western sanctions for the Russian economy, the dynamics of Russia-China relations, and the prospects for globalization. Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, spoke at the conference.
