On June 25–26, 2020, Russian International Affairs Council together with the Delegation of the European Union to the Russian Federation, held the 2nd workshop, this time online, to discuss possible scenarios for Russia-the EU relations by 2030.
The workshop was part of the initiative on creating an EU-Russia expert network aimed at strengthening long-term cooperation between Russia and the EU. The first workshop was held in February 2020.

During the online seminar, project participants continued to work on scenarios for the development of relations between Russia and the EU by 2030.
The meeting was attended by experts from Russia and the EU, permanent members of the group. Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, and Aleska Simkic, Deputy Head of Delegation, spoke at the online plenary session.
RIAC was also represented by Ivan Timofeev, RIAC Director of Programs, and Natalya Vyakhireva, RIAC Program Manager.
