In view of the official visit of Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to Moscow on October, 20, the Russian International Affairs Council has issued a working paper Postulates on Russia-India Relations aimed to assess the current status of the bilateral relationship and suggest specific recommendations for implementation of Russia’s interests.
In view of the official visit of Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to Moscow on October, 20, the Russian International Affairs Council has issued a working paper Postulates on Russia-India Relations aimed to assess the current status of the bilateral relationship and suggest specific recommendations for implementation of Russia’s interests.
The document was prepared by a team of leading Russian experts headed by Army General Vyacheslav Trubnikov, a RIAC member.
The authors offer proposals on advancement of cooperation in such areas as global development, regional security, economic interaction, and improvement of Russia’s image in India.
On October 18, RIAC is to hold a press conference on Russian-Indian relations with participation of:
- Army General Vyacheslav Trubnikov, a RIAC member
- Chief Research Fellow at RAS Institute of World Economy and International Relations Andrey Volodin
- Vice President of Observer Research Foundation Nandan Unnikrishnan
- Expert of Indian Council of World Affairs Vinay Shukla
The press conference will be held in the form of Moscow-Delhi video bridge and broadcast on the RIAC website.
