What ways of resolving international military-political conflicts exist today? What is the role of international organizations in resolving armed conflicts? Is it possible to minimize the risk of armed conflicts and are there effective ways to prevent the "acute" stages of crises?
These and other issues will be discussed during the seminar. The speakers include:
— Special guest: Robert Malley, President and CEO at the International Crisis Group, Special Assistant to the President under the administration of Barack Obama on the Middle East, North Africa, and the Persian Gulf region (2014-2017)
— Olga Oliker, Program Director for Europe and Central Asia, International Crisis Group
