RIAC’s infographics on Russian-German relations has won an award in Digital Communication AWARDS – 2016 special nomination. The infographics, prepared within the framework of RIAC and Körber Foundation joint initiative “German-Russian International Affairs Dialogue (GRID),” covers economic indicators of Russian-German relations in 2014-2015, and reveals the data on trade, mutual investment, tourism and academic exchange between the Russian Federation and Germany.

RIAC’s infographics on Russian-German relations has won an award in Digital Communication AWARDS – 2016 special nomination.

The prize is awarded annually by the Russian Association of Communication Directors and Corporate Publishing (AKMR).

The infographics, prepared within the framework of RIAC and Körber Foundation joint initiative “German-Russian International Affairs Dialogue (GRID),” covers economic indicators of Russian-German relations in 2014-2015, and reveals the data on trade, mutual investment, tourism and academic exchange between the Russian Federation and Germany.

Elena Alekseenkova, Vladimir Morozov, Maria Smekalova, and Alexander Teslya worked on this infographics project.

The editorial staff of RIAC thanks its interns Spencer Vuksic and Yulia Solomatina for the project’s data collection.

The project’s design partner was Graph Infographic Solution.

German-Russian International Affairs Dialogue (GRID)

This joint initiative of the Russian International Affairs Council and the Korber Foundation is aimed at discussing the role of Germany and Russia in a changing world and at searching for ways to restore confidence in relations between the two countries, undermined by the Ukrainian crisis. The project involves holding meetings of experts on foreign policy of Russia and Germany. Data on the meetings held in Moscow and Berlin in 2015, as well as the panellists’ main findings are published on RIAC Website
