On September 8, 2022, RIAC hosted a meeting with Amama Mbabazi, Chairman of the African Global Security Fund (AGSF), and Jean-Yves Ollivier, AGSF Deputy Chair.
Amama Mbabazi spoke about the creation of a Fund that brings together 6 African countries at the level of heads of state, open to cooperation with all African countries, and about the activities of the Fund, contributing to the formation of foreign and security policies of member states to build a more secure and stable African region and the world as a whole.

The meeting touched upon the issues of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and the possibility of its settlement. Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, spoke about the RIAC activities for the settlement of international conflicts, including on the territory of the African continent.
An agreement was reached on long-term cooperation and exchange of materials on the settlement of international conflicts.
