In the course of the meeting the sides discussed issues of the current state of relations between Russia, NATO and the European Union, as well as the prospects for the development of bilateral Russian-Belgian relations. In addition, they touched upon the challenges of European security in the context of termination of the INF Treaty and the Treaty on Open Skies, the possibility of using the pan-European mechanisms (OSCE) to partially preserve the system of confidence-building measures in the military field within Europe.
