On October 20, 2022, Oxford Process, a British expert think tank, held the fifteenth high-level international expert meeting on the challenges of resolving the Russian-Ukrainian crisis and the future of European security. The meeting was held in an online mode and was dedicated to the modalities of a possible ceasefire agreement, the potential role of international organizations in monitoring the agreement, taking into account the experience of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to the Donbas in 2014–2022, as well as international guarantees for the implementation of the agreements reached by the parties.

Other discussion points included existing precedents of ceasefire agreements not followed by a comprehensive political settlement of conflicts (Cyprus, Korea, etc.). As usual, the event was attended by experts from the United States, Great Britain, Ukraine, and Russia. Russian side was represented at the meeting by Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General.
