RIAC members and scientists representing RAS IMEMO, RAS Institute of Europe, MGIMO University, Higher School of Economics, as well as European and Swedish experts from Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) and European Leadership Network (ELN) discussed possible scenarios for escalation and de-escalation in relations between Russia and NATO in the context of the crisis in Ukraine, the risks of incidents and the possibility of avoiding them, the prospects for multilateral cooperation in the Arctic, cooperation on the climate agenda, and the fight against the coronavirus pandemic given the aggravated relations between Russia and the NATO alliance, as well as a number of other issues.
