On May 24–25, 2023, The 2nd Eurasian Economic Forum (EEF) took place, being the central event of the public program of the Russian presidency in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in 2023, timed to the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council with the participation of member states and observers of the Union.
On May 24–25, 2023, The 2nd Eurasian Economic Forum (EEF) took place, being the central event of the public program of the Russian presidency in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in 2023, timed to the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council with the participation of member states and observers of the Union.
The opening plenary session with the participation of the heads of the EAEU member states had a key role. The strategic priorities for the development of integration in the short and medium term were announced within its framework.
The business program of the Forum includes more than 35 sessions devoted to practical aspects of the development of integration in the Eurasian space, such as the development of technological sovereignty, the introduction of "green" technologies, activation of transport, logistics and infrastructure cooperation, elimination of barriers to the domestic market, etc. Special attention was paid to the development of external relations of the EAEU—both with other international organizations and associations, such as the SCO, BRICS, ASEAN, and with partners in free trade zones.

The program of Russia's chairmanship in the EAEU will be implemented further on June 7-9 in Sochi, within the 3rd Eurasian Congress, the 2nd Youth Forum of the CIS and the EAEU, and the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council. Prior to the meeting, RIAC, with the substantive support of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), will hold a round table on the prospects for the development of Eurasian integration in the new conditions, international experience in adapting integration practices to the changing reality.
