On December 5, 2015, RIAC and Korber Foundation met in Moscow within the framework of German-Russian International Affairs Dialog (GRID) to discuss under Chatham House rules the roles of Russia and Germany in the changing world and ways for restoring mutual trust damaged by the Ukraine crisis.

The event was attended by key Russian and German foreign policy experts who focused on the dynamics of Russia-Germany relationship during the six months after their first session that was devoted to Berlin's OSCE presidency and the organization's role in settling conflicts in Europe. Both gatherings also covered interaction of the EU and EEU, and prospects for Russia-EU cooperation in Central Asia. One more meeting was devoted to Russian and German policies in the Middle East.

A policy brief summarizing the discussions will be published later.
