On October 29, 2015, RIAC and Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs (ECFA) with support of Egypt’s Embassy to Moscow held roundtable “Russia-Egypt Cooperation: Bilateral and Regional Dimensions.” The discussants focused on Russia-Egypt relations, including its economic, political and cultural aspects, as well as global governance and attitudes of Moscow and Cairo to these issues. A separate session was devoted to conflict settlement in the Middle East and Russian-Egyptian interaction in this area.
On October 29, 2015, RIAC and Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs (ECFA) with support of Egypt’s Embassy to Moscow held roundtable “Russia-Egypt Cooperation: Bilateral and Regional Dimensions.”
The event attracted former Egyptian Foreign Minister (1991-2001) and Secretary-General of the Arab League (2001-2011) Amr Moussa, RIAC President Igor Ivanov, RIAC Director General Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Vice Presidents Alexander Dzasokhov and Mikhail Margelov, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, Egypt’s Ambassador to Moscow Mohammed Al-Badri, ECFA delegation headed by Council President Mohammed Ibrahim Shaker, as well as RIAC members and experts.
