On March 18, 2022, Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) continued the series of joint events and held a round table on Russia-China cooperation in the Arctic, the opportunities and limitations. The event was held behind closed doors.
The participants focused on prospects for the development of cooperation between Moscow and Beijing in the Arctic, the opportunities for regulatory and functional harmonization of the approaches of the two countries to the development of the region, as well as bottlenecks in partnership, given the changing geopolitical situation.
