The session addressed various aspects of the ongoing aggravation of China-the U.S. relations against the backdrop of the visit of the Speaker of the U.S. Congress House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi to Taipei and the possible consequences of this aggravation for the position of the PRC leadership regarding the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. The progress in the implementation of the agreements regarding the export of Ukrainian grain was also touched upon. Leading international researchers from China, the USA, Great Britain, Ukraine, and Russia took part in the event. Russian side was represented at the event by Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General.
