On June 24–25, 2021, China Center for SCO Studies (at the China Institute of International Studies), the China National Institute for SCO International Exchange and Judicial Cooperation (at the Shanghai University of Political Science and Law), the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, and the SCO Secretariat, with the assistance of China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, held an international symposium in a hybrid mode marking the twenty years of Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

On June 24–25, 2021, China Center for SCO Studies (at the China Institute of International Studies), the China National Institute for SCO International Exchange and Judicial Cooperation (at the Shanghai University of Political Science and Law), the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, and the SCO Secretariat, with the assistance of China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, held an international symposium in a hybrid mode marking the twenty years of Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

The symposium was attended by international experts, diplomats, government officials and public figures of the SCO member states. The discussion focused on the results of twenty years of the Organization development, as well as the current state and prospects of the SCO development. Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, and Dmitry Mezentsev, Secretary General of the SCO in 2012–2015, RIAC Member, addressed the participants in the discussion.
