Joining the G8's Broader Middle East and North Africa Initiative (BMENA), on March 4, RIAC received a delegation of the Foreign Ministry and noncommercial organizations from the United Arab Emirates.
During the discussion, RIAC was invited to contribute to three international workshops planned within the Initiative, with the focus on SME, interaction with the private sector and impact investing as a key aspect of assistance to international development, as suggested by the UAE representatives.

Planned for next summer in the UAE, the BMENA workshops will cover the above issues, as well as women's rights, gender equality, and interaction of regional civil society groups, and will be finalized by elaboration of recommendations for appropriate structures and agencies.
