On March 16, 2016 Ankara hosted a meeting of the Task Force for the “Building Greater Europe” project to discuss the issues of fighting terrorism in the Middle East, various aspects of the immigration crisis, and the problems related to the crisis in Syria.

On March 16, 2016 Ankara hosted a meeting of the Task Force for the “Building Greater Europe” project to discuss the issues of fighting terrorism in the Middle East, various aspects of the immigration crisis, and the problems related to the crisis in Syria.

Russia was represented by RIAC Program Director Ivan Timofeev and RIAC member Alexei Gromyko, Director of the RAS Institute of Europe.

The Building Greater Europe project is carried out by RIAC in partnership with the European Leadership Network (ELN), the International Strategic Research Organization (USAK), and the Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM).

Under the project, regular meetings of the Task Force take place and joint advisory opinion statements on topical issues of international relations are published.
