On October 27-29, 2014 Bulgarian Sofia hosted a session of young experts’ group on Ukraine crisis and Euro-Atlantic security to discuss the Ukraine situation and ways to have it rectified.
Organized by the European Leadership Network for Multilateral Disarmament and Non-Proliferation (ELN), Munich Security Conference, Nuclear Threat Initiative, RIAC and Carnegie Foundation, the event gathered participants from Russia, Ukraine, Europe and the United States who differed on many basic issues but proved ready for a dialogue at the NGO and young leaders' level.

The young activists received constructive advice from ELN Board Member and former UK Defense Secretary Desmond Browne and former U.S. Ambassador to Moscow James Collins, now Senior Research Fellow at Carnegie, who attended the event as observers.
