In neighbouring Estonia, Estonian Centre Party collected the most votes in the March 1999 (23.4 per cent) and 2011 (23.3 per cent) elections, but still found itself in the opposition. The Latvian Harmony Party received 23.26 per cent of the votes in October 2014, against 28.36 per cent in 2011.
